Another Railway Runaway
On Saturday afternoon, a train of empty flats, some eight or ten in number, standing on the temporary track on Broad street, started down the hill on their own hook, and, of course, pretty soon accumulated a lightning speed. – Upon reaching the {Virginia} Central depot, two of the hindmost swung off the track, and the others pitched into a large locomotive that had just been brought down. Two of the cars were smashed up. They belong to the Fredericksburg Railroad Company {Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac RR}.
