| Fatal accident |
| On Friday last, an accident
occurred at Pelham, on the Piedmont railroad,
by which Colonel Presstman, of Alabama, lost his life. The Colonel was riding on the platform, but suddenly
lost his balance and fell between the cars, between which he was
caught and crushed to death. |
