| At the last meeting of the
Directors of the Petersburg Railroad
Company, besides declaring the usual dividend, a proposition was
submitted to increase the amount of percent., but it was deemed
advisable to withdraw it, and keep the surplus, so as to be prepared
for any emergency of the times. This argues that the road is in a good
condition. |
