Change of Schedule |
It will be seen by reference to the
advertisement in this paper, that the schedule time of the Raleigh &
Gaston Railroad has been changed so that the mail train will hereafter
reach Raleigh at 12:40 in the day, instead of that hour at night. We
presume as a matter of course, therefore, that the departure of the
mails for the West will also be changed from the night to the day. The
mails for the North and East will continue to leave in the morning; and
we shall therefore issue a Morning and Evening edition of the
Confederate. The Evening edition will contain all Telegraphic
despatches and other news received up to near Noon on the day of its
date, which will in fact place our subscribers on that route twelve
hours ahead of the present arrangement with the latest news. |
Our city subscribers will be supplied with
the morning edition as usual. |
