Sad Accident
As the train on the Pensacola & Georgia railroad was passing east on Monday night last, when over the trestle above two and a half miles this side of Lake City, Lieut. Joseph Law, of the Hamilton Blues, fell from the train and through the trestle, the distance of some thirty-five or forty feet. One of his comrades seeing him fall reported the fact immediately, and the conductor stopped the train and returned to the place as soon as possible. When found he was alive, but never spoke.
