Nashville & Northwestern Railroad -- Western Division |
Mr. E. Culverhouse, the Superintendent of the Western
Division of the Nashville & Northwestern Railroad, states that
passenger trains will commence running on and after the 15th inst.,
between Hickman, Ky., and McKenzie, the junction of the Memphis &
Ohio Railroad, connecting with the Lightening Express from Memphis.
The passenger train will leave Hickman at 6 A. M., arriving at
Nashville at 7 P. M., Louisville at 11:20 P. M., and Cincinnati at 6
:40 net morning. By this arrangement the time from Hickman, Ky., to
Nashville will be 13 hours instead of 24 hours; to Louisville 17
instead of 29; and to Cincinnati 24 instead of 36 hours. |
