Change of Time
To take effect on and after Thursday, March 14th, 1861
   Trains leave Galveston for Houston, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of each week, at 7:45 A. M., arriving at Houston 11 A. M. Thursday's Train leaves at 10 A. M., or on arrival of the New Orleans steamer.
   All the above Trains make sure connections the same day at Harrisburg, with the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos & Colorado Railway for Columbus, LaGrange, Bastrop, Austin, San Antonio, and all Western and Northern Texas.
   Baggage will be checked at steamboat landing, and conveyed to Depot free of expense.
   Train leaves Houston for Galveston at 5 P. M. -- taking Passengers arriving at Houston by Houston & Texas Central and Houston Tap & Brazoria roads; and at Harrisburg, passengers from the West by the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos & Colorado Railway, reaching Galveston at 8:20 P. M. 
   Passengers and Baggage conveyed through Houston from Central Railroad to Galveston Train Free.
   Sunday Train leaves Houston at 3:30 P. M., and Galveston at 11 A. M.
   Fare each way, to and from Houston, $2. To Harrisburg, each way, $1.75.
   Excursion Parties charged half fare.
