| The Jefferson & Lake {Pontchartrain}
Railroad continues to have as much business in the freight line
out and in as can be managed conveniently; the number of
passengers on the road, however, is not so large as those interested
in its advancement might desire, still we have reason for believing
the Road is doing a paying business by the transportation of freight
alone. |
