| Memphis Cannon Shop |
| We have been presented with a
six-pound cannon shot cast at the Memphis & Charleston rail road
machine shop, "for home protection." It is an admirable
success, being perfectly round and smooth; and would palpably be a
very ugly customer, if hurled from one of our fine park of brass field
pieces. Our readers are aware that this Company will next week
commence the work of casting and boring large pieces of artillery. |
