The cars are now running west on the Southern {(of Mississippi)} railroad from Meridian to Chunkey river, a distance of thirty-eight miles. The Clarion, of Friday, says: "A large force commenced working on the Chunkey bridges Wednesday. It is thought two weeks will finish the bridges, when the iron horse will again wend his way to Jackson."
