| Col. Young of this road,
informs the Houston Telegraph that the work has been somewhat delayed
by high water in the Trinity. The track layers are now twenty-three
miles from Houston. It is now hoped that they will be through by the
1st of April. The contractors are busily at work all along the line,
placing the road in first rate order. |
