The passenger train came in collision with some loaded platform cars which were standing on the track. The conductor, Mr. Faulkner, had one leg smashed so badly that amputation was necessary, and a Mr. McNeely, a passenger, who was standing on the platform, was so seriously injured that he died soon after the accident occurred. No one else was injured.
