Supr R Rail Roads for Gov in NC

Major,
I beg to say that to my repeated calls on the Superintendent of the NCarolina Rail Road have failed to procure the trains necessary to haul the required 200 cords of wood per month which Mr Webb agreed to. As also to haul the lumber for the construction of the hospitals now being erected.
This day I have the wood requisitions for the hospitals but owing to want of Transportation I cannot furnish it unless to buy in town which I have ordered to be done.
My Chief Carpenter reports all his hands idle for want of lumber. I have a large lot but need trains.
I again respectfully ask the use of a train to do the work here.
I also call on Doctor Hawkins for evidence that no part of Govt wood was to be ???
