| You will forthwith proceed to Wilmington
N. C. and call upon the President of the W & M Rail Road Co {Wilmington
& Manchester RR}, and insist upon his making more ample
supply of Fuel and Water, by increasing the number of Wood Stations
and Water Tanks along the Road, as without such addition it is
impossible to transport troops promptly. |

of available Rolling Stock and report it to this office. |
