| The Bearer Major J. W. Wilson
Q. M. of Ransom's Brigade, has been elected Chief Engineer &
Superintendent of the Western N C Rail Road, and tenders his
resignation in order that he may accept the position. |
| In addition to the desire of
the Directory, I beg leave to add my own earnest request that you will
accept his resignation at once, as the road is now entirely without a
Superintendent and needs one greatly. |
