| There is difficulty in getting supplies
from Richmond by {Richmond, Fredericksburg
& Potomac} R. R. Unless its management is more energetic,
I cannot keep this army in its position. Every little obstacle seems
able to arrest transportation. Better stop passenger train than
arrest supplies of army. |
