| We have sent a special agent to No.
Carolina in search of our cars. He has found eight on the R. &
Gaston R. Rd. {Raleigh & Gaston RR} and found, he says, two,
which are loaded with stores
for Medical Purveyor Charlotte, six more are yet to be located. Beside
one cattle car and eight flats, an officer of Col. Starke's Va Regt
now present informs me his Regt is expected here today, we have not
three cars to bring them. Please telegraph to Charlotte for the
immediate return of those of this Co. |
