| Dear Sir, |
| I have had a seal made for our freight
cars in order to carry out the arrangement made with you requiring all
Government freight for Half way Crossing to be put in sealed cars in
charge of a special messenger. I now want a messenger, and request
that you will have Mr. H. L. Pangle a disabled private in Co.
A. (4th) Texas Infantry Texas Brigade (late Greggs) detailed for duty
on this road, as he can fill the place. |
