Orders, No. 118, Adjt & Inspector General's Office to report that
I am stationed, by order of Col. A. C. Myers formerly Qr Mr Genl, at
this place, in charge of the transportation of corn from Augusta and
Greenville & Columbia R Rds to Charlotte NC & that at the
request of Wm Johnston Esq Prest of the Charlotte & South Carolina
R. R. & of Maj. C. S. Carrington Q. M. I was permitted by Col. A.
C. Myers to take charge of the Charlotte & South Carolina RR as
