| Your letter of the 25th inst. has been
received. I have instructed Capt Venable the Quarter Master at Weldon
that such interference, as you complain of, with the cars of your
company is unwarrantable and directed that in future he observe
strictly the order issued by Genl Lee, on the subject. |
