| Sir, |
| I am unable to have transported between this city and
Lynchburg the Government stores with the dispatch needed, and I desire
to get from you an order on the Norfolk & Petersburg Co for all the cars
not actually needed on that road. |
| Receipts will be given for the cars and they will be
returned in as good order as when received and f fair compensation paid
for the use of them. |
