Sir,
Your telegram of 21st ulto: to hand on yesterday, and noted.
At present the junction is clear of corn and of course it will not be necessary for Mr LasSalle's {General Superintendent, Greenville & Columbia RR} train to go through to Charlotte; I have instructed him that whenever one of his loaded trains arrives here, and it cannot be promptly discharged at Junction, to send it through to Charlotte, so as to prevent delay.
No corn at Junction and very little at Keysville.
Very Respectfully
Your obt svt
Geo W Grice
Maj & QM
P. S. ??? waiting the above your telegram of yesterday to hand which embraces the above news which I had anticipated.
