| I call your attention to the great
complaints which have been made of the insufficiency of transportation
on the Orange & Alexr Rail Road between Lynchburg and Manassas. It
is represented that transportation of the essential article of salt,
is materially retained. |
| I request that you will without delay, add
the measures to remedy the deficiency complained of, in the means of
transportation in your Road. |
