| *** The Superintendent of the R.
Road {Virginia & Tennessee RR} has made
an arrangement by which if he is always notified that Ordnance is to
be moved upon the road he will take the necessary steps for their
transportation. You will therefore require the R R Agent here in all
cases to telegraph the Superintendent that there may be no delay in
the shipping of stores over the road. If those stores intended for
Genl Williams are not shipped by the next train I must be informed
in writing why the delay is necessary. |
