| The enemy on his late raid having
destroyed some Bridges and Trestling Work on the Mobile & Ohio
Rail Road near Dostoto {probably Desoto} the
Maj Genl Comdg desires that you will take the necessary steps to have
them repaired immediately. Every assistance will be rendered you. Brig
Genl Cantey now in command at Buckatuny {Buckatunna?}
will furnish the workmen a Strong Guard.
The payment for this work will be made by the Government. |
