Herndon Ga. August 19th 1863

Maj. J. W. Mallet

Dear Sir,
I wrote Mr. Irvine last week to send us a train of 12 or 15 cars to load on Saturday last for you, but none have come as yet. Send it along as soon as you can.
The permanent building is done except flooring.
   Addition to Negro buildings complete.
Derrick complete, & considerable of buildings "Right & Left" done also.
Your architect failed to give the length of flooring in last Bill, if however it does not matter I will cut it 20 feet long.
Respectfully
Yours
E. S. M. for Wadley Jones & Co.
