| Yours of 23rd ordering 6 carr loads lime
was recd on 27th Inst & we to day shipp you two carrs
{Montgomery & West Point RR} 152 Bbls & will continue to
shipp until your order is fill as we get the transportation, which at
present is somewhat interrupted by the Vicksburg troops passing over it. |

On the 14th Inst we shipped by mistake to Capt Mallet 2
carrs (152 Bbl) which was intended for Col. J. H. Burton & 15th notified
both parties of the mistake We learn from Capt DuBarrys letter to us
that the lime was retained by your Department. Your of 23rd orders to
Carson do you mean six exclusive of these two or including them. |
