Sir,
   I have the honor to report my arrival here from Savannah last night. I have in charge the following stores in two cars, which I shall endeavor to store here. Viz.
  3 Bbls Shilac  
  1 Circular Saw  
  5 Bars Steel  
  11 Ps India rubber Belting  
  1 Fuze timing Machine & Wright  
  2 Telegraph Tables register &c  
  73 Flasks Quicksilver  
  168 Kegs Nails  
  3 Boxes New Machinery  
  2 Boxes Whitworth Cartridges (L.L. & M.M.)  
  2      "    VV. & WW.  
  1      "    Telegraph Weights &c. &c.  
 I saw Col Cuyler before leaving Savannah who directed me to store the above goods here and report to you. He will be here on his way to Macon on Monday night (probably). Unless Col Cuyler gives me other instructions on his arrival I shall await your orders here. One car load of the above goods has arrived and the other will be in tonight.  {Thomasville was the western end of the Savannah, Albany & Gulf RR -- the farthest away from Sherman that cars could get}
