| Articles of agreement between T. S. Moise Maj Qr Mr C.
S. A. and T. F. Hollis. T. S. Moise agreeing to furnish planks and
spikes to complete the foot-path on the west side at the Rail Road
across Galveston Bay {Galveston, Houston &
Henderson RR}, and to make a suitable railing capable of allowing
mounted troops to pass in safety. Mr Hollis agreeing on his part to
complete the work for Twelve hundred and fifty dollars, said work to be
completed by Saturday night next or in case the weather is unfavorable,
to be allowed six working days, or to forfeit Twenty five Dollars for
every day the work is delayed over said six days. |
