| Commissioner for Removal of R. R. Iron |

| Colonel, |
| I am informed by a prominent citizen of
Florida that if the iron could be removed from (22) twenty-two miles
of the Tallahassee & St. Marks R. R. {the
Tallahassee RR} at the same time as from the
(140) one hundred & forty miles of the Florida Road, it would do
much to modify & allay the sectional feeling which has been
excited in that state by the proposed removal of Rail road Iron. The
suggestion is submitted to your consideration. |
| Yours Very Respectfully |
