   I have been just informed that your agent for the collection & removal of the iron from the Roanoke Valley Railroad is making no progress in the work for the want of "flats" to transport the iron when taken up. Will you please to look into the matter; see Capt. Sims Agent of Transportation & arrange, if possible for an exchange of cars (box cars or others) on the Roanoke Valley RRd for "flats," at least for an exchange as to the use of them.
  This being accomplished, please to have your agent on that road press forward the work to completion.
