| I regret to inform
you that in consequence of the difficulties of transportation
experienced in bringing the cotton to Wilmington, no shipment of the
cotton purchased by this Bureau to meet the claims of your company in
England has yet been made. I have again urged on Mr Seixas the
importance of carrying out in this respect with the least possible
delay, the intentions of the Government. |
