| Engr Bureau 30th Nov/63. This whole
question has been placed by the QM Genl in the hands of Mr. Tate,
Prest of the Memphis & Charleston RR. The Engineer officers of
Genl Johnston's command and the Commissioner for the removal of RR
iron have had their special attention called to the subject. It is
believed that every effort will be promptly made to secure the
