Captain,
   After the removal of the iron from the Acquia Creek Road you will secure and remove as far as possible the wire from the telegraph line between Falmouth and Occoquan. A body of cavalry has been ordered to cover the operations of your working party and the officer in command will place himself in communication with you and report any advance of the enemy in your direction.
   After the operations on the railway are concluded (they should be carried on very rapidly) you will if possible quietly remove the telegraph wire as instructed above.
