Company procuring tools from the Confederate States for the
construction of the link of the R. Roads under your supervision, has
been referred to this Bureau. It has been suggested to us that the
completion of the Selma & Meridian connection
{the Alabama & Mississippi Rivers RR} a large supply might
be obtained from that quarter. Your attention for inquiry and report
is called to the subject. |
