| It is understood that the
Charleston & Savannah R Road have no agent located in Savannah. The
Commanding Officer desires you to see the proper officer of the Road and
bring the matter to his attention, as it is his opinion a local agent of
that R Road should assuredly be at that terminal. |
| No train must be permitted,
except in extreme cases, to carry more troops than it can convey to its
point of destination with perfect safety. |
