The Maj Gen. Cmdg directs that you send Capt McAlpin with
the company of engineer troops to repair the Rail Road between Baldwin
and Lake City {Florida, Atlantic & Gulf Central
RR}, commencing at this end and working on until he meets the
repairing parties working don from the other end. Capt McA. will take
all tools with him and use all diligence to get the Road in working
order as quickly a possible. |

Capt McA. will leave Lieut Wallace, and any other officers
he can spare to carry on work on the fortifications during his absence. |
