I have the honor to request you to Judge Niblack, Pres't C.
A. & G. R. R. Co. {Florida, Atlantic & Gulf
Central RR} as soon as practicable and by conference and
agreement with him, secure, if possible, such concert of action between
the companies represented by you, as will remove all existing delays,
and prevent their reoccurrence in the transportation of freight and
passengers between Tallahassee and this army. |

This result is indispensable to the successful defense of
the state, and I ask your patriotic exertions to accomplish it. |

It is very desirable that the agreement arrived at should
??? at least, as lasting as the continuance of active military
operations in this state. |
