| Genl Lee directs me to inform you that
he wishes twenty five (25) negro men impressed in order to repair
the Memphis & Charleston Rail Road, east from Corinth. They will be
reported to Capt. W. J. Ross, Supt. of the work either at Meridian
or Corinth, whichever point you select you will give notice of to
Capt. Ross at Demopolis. |
