| In reply to your application of 16th ulto
you are authorized to retain while there is ??? necessity therefore
the 3 Clerks, Stove Keeper & Watchman specified in said
application, at the same rate of pay ??? allowed. You can also retain
the transportation agent and Six Negro laborers transferred to you by
Majr Rhett, as per his description list enclosed in your letter of 6th
inst. |
