I feel anxious in the present state of affairs to be contributing my
mite to the general cause, if nothing definite has been done in
reference to the consolidation of the Roads south of Richmond I would
like you to construct the arrangement for me to aid you and enter upon
the duties as soon as possible please let me hear from you as early as
